ELECTRIC HEATERS FOR EXTENSION SCREWS
Expansion screws from M72 to M160 and from 2 3/4 "to 6" are tightened in the hot state heated by electric heaters. Heaters are placed in holes or holes in the screws. By heating, the screw expands allowing screwing and unscrewing. By cooling, the screw returns to its original dimension, creating a firmer connection.
They are used on large electric machines, turbines, generators, marine engines, large presses and other special purpose devices.
The required power is generated by a control transformer. The heaters are designed in such a way that they can be connected, e.g. on a welding transformer. It is only necessary to attach the electrode holder to the electrical connections of the heater.
Standard heater diameters:
18, 24, 25, 26, 28, 30 mm, lengths L1 and L2 as required.
